Start the day with newcomer Layla Balan in this debut pictorial shot by Henrik Pfeifer. On location in Berlin, Germany, Ukrainian model Layla tells us about herself. “My superpowers? Spontaneity, sincere kindness, and openness to this incredible world of endless possibilities,” she says of herse lf. “My passion is my work,” adds the full-time model. “Sometimes, I go into a trance when I pose. I am totally committed to the process that I completely forget that this is my job!” Posing nude has allowed Layla to get to know herself on a deeper level. “[When] I started working as a nude model, I realized my uniqueness, fell in love with my body, and believed in my strength,” she says. “I may not be the best version of myself yet, but I know that I will become it.” Layla believes in seizing all life offers and moves through the world with gratitude. “Words I live by?
