I always feel so at home, and I am so appreciative of all that I’ve learned [here] growing up.”...

A model and artist, Sarissle loves the creative process. “My passion is creating,” she says, “I have found that when I create, and it allows me to connect with another person, it fuels me to want to do it again and again.” Next, head north of LA to meet Mel Green, a San Francisco native. “I grew up in the Bay Area,” says Mel, “I love the openness, the uniqueness — it’s a bunch of weirdos who love connecting and creating.” It wasn’t too long into our interview until Mel declared herself one of them. “Three adjectives I would use to describe myself?
